Online Talk on Seasearch Citizen Science and marine life in Swansea and Gower

Marine Biologist and Seasearch Co-ordinator Matt Green will show the magnificent marine life living in our sea around Swansea and Gower. Using stunning original underwater video and photography and a narrated video he'll explain what is out there, how it’s unique and special and why it is so important to record it!

The talk will feature the huge variety of creatures that exist in the usually murky depths of the Bristol Channel and tell how this globally unique environment supports a stunning array of habitats and species from soft corals, inquisitive cuttlefish and vibrant stinging sea slugs to feather stars and territorial tompot blennies.

He will give an update on Seasearch activities and records in south Wales focusing on the work undertaken in Swansea and Gower, an area we know very little about!
